Very important is a road loss of second rankedSharks (8-4) against fifth ranked Manchester (4-6) on Friday night. Visiting Sharks were defeated by Manchester in a tough game in Manchester 72-76 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sharks. Manchester outrebounded Sheffield 46-35 including 37 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian forward DJ Mitchell (203-1997, college: Santa Clara) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Canadian forward Elijah Ifejeh (202-1997, college: PVAMU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Manchester players scored in double figures. American guard Rodney Chatman (189-1998, college: Vanderbilt, agency: Slash Sports) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Donovan Clay (203-2001, college: Missouri St.) added 17 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Sheffield. Manchester have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Manchester went down to sixth position due to points difference. Sheffield at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost.
